This workshop is designed for Kansas families and aligned with the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards (KCCRS) and Kansas Early Learning Standards (KELS).

✔ Is this workshop for Kansas families?

Yes! The Grade Level Experience is designed specifically around the Kansas College and Career Ready Standards (KCCRS) and the Kansas Early Learning Standards (KELS). Families, homeschool educators, and anyone supporting a Kansas learner are welcome to attend.

 ✔ Is the workshop live?

Yes! Each Grade Level Experience is presented live, giving families the opportunity to learn alongside other parents and ask questions during the Q&A session.

✔ How long is the workshop?

Each workshop lasts approximately 60 minutes, including about 50 minutes of instruction followed by 10 minutes for questions and answers. 

✔ Will there be a recording?

Yes! If you register but are unable to attend live, you'll receive access to the workshop recording so you can watch it at a time that works best for your family.

✔ What will I receive?

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a clearer understanding of:

✔ Do I need to attend the workshop for my learner's exact grade level?

Yes! We recommend attending the workshop that matches your learner's current grade level, since that's where you'll learn the expectations and standards they'll be working toward this school year.

If you'd like an even deeper understanding of your learner's academic journey, we also encourage attending the workshop for the grade level before and the grade level after your learner's current grade.

Why? The previous grade level helps you understand the foundational skills your learner should already have mastered, making it easier to identify any learning gaps that may need additional support. The next grade level gives you a preview of what's coming, helping you see where your learner is headed and recognize opportunities to challenge them if they're ready for more advanced learning.
